Raul Boesel .. Prior to Formula One

Raul Boesel was born on December 4, 1957 in Curitiba/Parana State Brazil. He currently resides in Key Biscayne, Forida, with his wife Vera, and children Raul Filho (Jr) and Gabriela.

                                                                  





Karting, Stock Cars, Formula Ford and Formula 3

After spending his childhood as one of Brazil's best show jumpers, he started karting. Next came Brazils national stock car racing. To be noticed by Formula 1 teams, he relocated to Europe.

He moved to Britain in 1979 to race in Formula Ford 1600.

In 1980 entered Formula 3 and finished third in the championship.







Already, Boesel was becoming known for his ability in a race car.
